My name is Danielle Flores and I am the 3rd GradeTeacher at Christ the King. I graduated from Arizona State University in 2014 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. This is my 8th year teaching and my second year at Christ the King. I started my career in a Title One School in Arizona. I previously taught 1st grade for one year, and have been in 3rd grade the rest of my career so far. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a 3rd grader myself because of an amazing teacher who inspired me. I hope to bring that same inspiration of the love of learning to my students. I love watching that light bulb moment when students learn something new as well as the pride they feel when they accomplish something that was difficult for them. I strive to inspire students to be strong in their faith, problem solvers, kind, hard-working, and successful students.
Outside of the classroom, I like to spend time with my husband and our 4 year old daughter. We love to watch movies, try new things, go to the beach, read, play games, and explore the beautiful scenery in Washington and Oregon as it is very different from our home state, Arizona. Being a part of Christ the King has brought so much joy and purpose into my life, and my family's life, as it truly is an amazing school grounded in Faith with a great community.
