Hello! My name is Megan McClain and I am the Kindergarten teacher. I have been teaching Kindergarten at Christ the King since 2012. I graduated from Oregon State University in 2008 with a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with an option in Early Childhood Education. I then went on to obtain my Masters degree in Elementary Education at Warner Pacific College. I have a passion for teaching Kindergarten and love being a part of the Christ the King community. I feel blessed to work at such an amazing place that values community and faith.
YEARS COMPLETED AT CTK: 12 YEARS IN EDUCATION: 12 TRAINING: Bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from Oregon State University, Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Warner Pacific College FAVORITE SAINT: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton because she was a Catholic Educator and lived out the virtues of patience and kindness. MORE ABOUT ME: I enjoy gardening, hiking, baking and spending time with my husband and daughter. WHY I CHOOSE TO TEACH AT CTK: I love teaching at CTK because I get to spend each day guiding and watching my students grow in their faith. The community at CTK is amazing and I feel supported and loved by the staff and families.
