Hi, my name is Chago Akles, and I love the Lord. I am a native Oregonian, born in Springfield and raised in Portland. I currently live in SE Portland with my wife, Jenett. I joined Christ the King Parish in 2019 after going through the RCIA program and coming into full communion with the church at Easter Vigil. I have been on fire for Jesus ever since.
I’m a trained urban farmer graduating from the OSU Extension Program on Urban Farming in 2013. I enjoy spending my free time tending to my ½ acre edible food forest we have at our home. I’ve been volunteering as the apostolate leader for the St. Vincent DePaul 5th grade garden with Ms Lindy and her 5th grade class for the last couple years. I’m also trained in automotive repair and have spent the last 17 years working with Toyota.
I look forward to this new career path and hope to provide the amazing team and children at Christ the King Parish School with support and a missionary heart to love Jesus more and more.
