Beloved Members of Christ the King Parish and School family,
I am pleased to announce Ms. Renee Ozier as our new principal for Christ the King Parish School! She is a mission-passionate and experienced Catholic school leader who is well versed in Catholic liberal education. Our principal search team agreed that she has the expertise and experience to continue building on the good work done these past years under Sarah Taber’s leadership, and to lead our school expansion to grade 12. We are excited to have her join the team of Christ the King! Welcome Renee!
Msgr. John Cihak, S.T.D., Pastor
Dear Christ the King Families,My name is Renee Ozier, and I am truly honored and delighted to have been appointed as your new campus leader and principal at Christ the King Parish School.
I come to this community as a 25-year veteran of Catholic education and school leadership. I was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on an Air Force base, and have been blessed to live in several states across this beautiful country. I am a product of Catholic elementary education and hold my undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, along with a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Concordia University in Austin, Texas.
Professionally, I have spent the majority of my career serving in the Diocese of Dallas, where over the past 15 years the Lord has called me to serve the Church in the work of Catholic educational renewal in Catholic schools. I have had the privilege of leading PreK–8 campuses, transitioning traditional schools into vibrant Catholic classical academies, founding Montessori programs, and serving at the high school level as a Headmaster. In addition, I have led capital campaigns and helped design and build innovative campus environments, including outdoor classrooms, multi-sensory learning spaces, and faith-integrated campus expansions.
Before entering education, I worked in marketing, fundraising, event planning, and public speaking—skills that continue to serve me well in the work of strengthening school communities and fostering meaningful relationships.
On a personal note, I am the proud mother of six children—four boys and two girls—and the joyful “Nana” of eight beautiful grandchildren who are truly the delight of my life.
At my core, I strive to follow Jesus as a servant leader who is deeply committed to the mission of Catholic education. I believe strongly in forming the whole child—intellectually, spiritually, and morally—and in cultivating a vibrant Catholic school culture rooted in faith, excellence, and joy.
I have already come to know Christ the King is a truly special community, and I am both honored and humbled to serve here. I look forward to getting to know you all and partnering with you as we continue to strengthen and grow this school. As your incoming principal, I look forward to building upon the beautiful work already underway at Christ the King Catholic Parish School. My hope is to help our school continue to flourish as an extension of the parish’s mission—drawing students, families, and faculty into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. I am committed to leading with humility and compassion, fostering a culture where faith is lived daily. I look forward, with anticipation, to walking alongside our community where hearts are transformed, unity is strengthened, and future leaders of the Church are joyfully formed.
With gratitude and excitement for the journey ahead,
Renee Ozier
