"I would like to, once again, express my deep gratitude to you, Mrs. Taber, to Msgr. Cihak, and to your team of teachers and staff for what must rightly be called the premier Catholic Elementary School, and parish, in the Archdiocese of Portland. You may recall that I too was an educator, and that I am a devout Catholic. I completed my career as the Principal of St. Bernard, a Diocesan 6-12 co-educational school in Montville, CT. My son Daniel graduated from St. Bernard. However, as Principal of St. Bernard I never enjoyed the close support of a parish priest, much less one of Msgr. Cihak's great abilities or the support of a truly remarkable bishop so greatly in tune with what excellent Catholic education can and should be. You do enjoy this support, and together you and your team are crafting what I believe to be the very best Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese. It is my grandchildren's great good fortune to be enrolled as students at CTK and members of its parish. So to you and to your team at CTK, school and parish, I send my profound thanks for providing my family with what is the best Catholic elementary education that is to be found."
Richard G. Arms, Jr., CTK Grandparent
"I chose to work at Christ the King because the mission and program is well aligned with my hope for the Lord’s children! At CTK, the aspiration is to foster future Saints, help students grow in virtue and wisdom, and embolden them to develop a personal relationship with Jesus. I loved the encouragement for students to live a life with God at the center of reality and the goal to prepare them for a life filled with wonder, joy, and hope. I desired to join an incredible team that is on fire with love of God, for His children, and for the community, and I found it here at Christ the King!"
